Rachel has week two of a six week retrieve class today. She has been taking plastic, metal and wooden dumbells along with cotton gloves quickly on a first cue of "Take It" and holding them for at least 3 seconds - until given the "Give" cue. I am now working on stimulus control with her. In other words, she is not supposed to take the dumbell until I ask her to do so. She seems to understand at home and I am anxious to see if she can generalize to Betsy's building. Unfortunately, Betsy canceled today's class. Instead, Rachel went to visit Superpetz. I bought Santa hats on clearance for 83 cents including tax ;-)
